I bought my first PDA in 2000, the soon-to-become-classic Palm Vx, and I have been interested in PDAs ever since. As the PDAs were given phone capabilities my interest shifted to smartphones and mobile computers.

I have since my Palm Vx owned devices with the majority of the smartphone platforms available today, in all kind of form-factors: front-facing QWERTY, horizontal- and vertical-sliders, all touch-screen, and or course the traditional "candy-bar". The devices I have not owned is precisely because I have played around with them and they were not able to spark any further interest during those encounters.

Having said that I have no allegiance or commitment to any smartphone platform in particular and simply use the OS that suits me the best though I do have my own preferences obviously, as we all probably have. But I still enjoy discussing all platforms, and I certainly have opinions about each everyone of them based om my own experiences, though I am always on the lookout for the next killer device!
