What would it take for me to buy an iPhone?
iPhone
Those of you who have read some of my other posts probably know at this point that I am not very impressed by the iPhone in its current incarnation. But what would it take for me to actually consider buying an iPhone?
...
Very little at this point, really, since most of the features that were missing previously have been added now.
All it would take is for Apple to add "true" multitasking, i.e. the possibility to run an unlimited amount of applications simultaneously (within the limits of the available RAM memory, of course). That's it.
If, on top of that, Apple implements a quick way of switching between the open apps (as opposed to e.g. Windows Mobile's very unfriendly way of doing it, where there is no way to easily switch between open apps), they would get a gold star.
And though a WVGA display (800x480 pixels) certainly would be very nice I could settle for a HVGA screen (480x320 pixels).
Oh, and if they added a front-facing camera for video calls it would be the icing on the cake (yes yes, I know, I'm probably the only person on this planet who actually uses video calls...).
Now that's not asking for a lot, is it?
